ALVERA AirGuard™ Filter Cover Compatible with AirSense 10 Devices - Grey

The Alvera AirGuard is a clip-on replacement AirSense 10 filter cover that holds the air filter against the inlet of ResMed AirSense 10 machines. This grey version comes in single and twin packs for sleep services, pharmacies and resellers.

Why an AirSense 10 filter cover matters

The cover holds the filter flat against the machine inlet so that incoming air passes through the filter rather than around its edge. Without it, unfiltered room air reaches the blower. Because the cover comes off at every filter change and is small and easy to lose, a missing cover is a common reason for a filter recess being left open.

This AirSense 10 filter cover clips on and off without tools and seats in the filter recess on the side of the AirSense 10. It is offered as a single pack or a twin pack, each separately coded, so services can stock spares for a second machine or a travel bag.

It fits AirSense 10 machines only and should not be forced onto other devices. It does not fit AirSense 11 or AirMini machines, which use different filter arrangements. The machine model is printed on the underside of the device, so it can be confirmed before ordering, and spare covers are a simple add-on to filter orders.

Use and care

• Never run the machine without the cover fitted; refit it after every filter change and confirm it clicks home.
• Do not substitute tape or an improvised cover, and keep the air inlet clear of walls, bedding and curtains.
• Wipe weekly with a damp cloth alongside the machine housing, with the machine disconnected from the mains.
• Inspect monthly for cracked clips or body, and renew when the cover no longer holds the filter flat.
• The instructions supplied with the machine take precedence.
