Alvera ThermaAir 10 is compatible AirSense 10 heated tubing that also fits ResMed AirCurve 10 and Lumis machines, run from the machine's own climate control.

About the AirSense 10 heated tubing

One line of AirSense 10 heated tubing serves the whole Air 10 series, which keeps stocking simple for services and retailers with AirSense 10, AirCurve 10 and Lumis users. The tube needs a machine with a heated humidifier and climate control, and the machine must recognise it before the heating element operates.

A heating element along the hose is designed to keep humidified air above its dew point, so moisture is carried to the mask rather than condensing in the tube as rainout. Temperature is set on the machine, and power and air couple through one integrated connector.

The mask end takes a standard 22 mm cuff for nasal, pillow and full face interfaces, and the tube is flexible and light to reduce pull on the mask. ThermaAir 10 does not fit AirSense 11 or AirMini, which use different connections; ThermaAir 11 is listed separately for AirSense 11.

Use and care

• Mains-powered accessory with a heating element: do not immerse the connector end, and do not use a dishwasher or washing machine.
• Wash weekly in warm water with a mild detergent, keeping the connector end clear of the water; rinse and hang to dry away from direct sunlight, and dry fully before use.
• Do not use a tube with a damaged connector, split, kink, crushed section or moisture inside the connector.
• Do not run the tube under bedding or a mattress, do not use an added heat source, and do not cut, modify or extend it.
• Replace at the interval set by the service responsible for care, typically every three to six months. The machine and tube instructions take precedence.
