Alvera AirLink Mini Mask Adapter for AirMini Single Pack

The Alvera AirLink™ Mini is an AirMini mask adapter that lets a standard 22 mm CPAP mask connect to an AirMini or AirMini Pro travel device. It is a single-pack accessory for sleep services, pharmacies and travel-equipment resellers.

How the AirMini mask adapter works

An AirMini uses a narrow proprietary hose, so on its own it accepts only masks set up for that device. This AirMini mask adapter brings the mask end of the circuit back to a standard 22 mm connection, with a push fit at each end, so the mask a user already wears can travel with the machine.

The adapter works with standard mask elbows and swivels, which means nasal, pillow and full face interfaces are all options. It is white plastic, compact and light, and attaches or detaches without tools. Its single-pack format and clear AirMini labelling make it easy to stock beside AirMini filters and connectors.

One limit should be made clear at the point of sale: waterless humidification only works inside the dedicated AirMini mask set-ups, so therapy through this adapter is delivered without that humidification. The adapter does not fit Air 10 series or AirSense 11 machines, which already use standard 22 mm connections. A separate twin pack is available for buyers who want a spare.

Use and care

• Before first use, confirm the adapter is fully seated at both the tubing end and the mask end; a partial connection leaks pressure.
• The mask in use must have its own vent, and vent holes must never be blocked, covered or have anything inserted into them.
• Wipe daily with a mask wipe or damp cloth, and wash weekly in warm water with a mild detergent, rinse and air dry away from direct sunlight.
• Do not use an adapter that is split, cracked, distorted or no longer grips; renew it, typically every three to six months.
• Do not use a dishwasher, bleach, alcohol-based cleaners or scented oils. The machine and mask instructions take precedence.
