Alvera AirStrap™ magnetic CPAP mask clips connect the lower headgear straps to the mask frame on ResMed AirFit F20, F30 and N20 and AirTouch F20 and N20 masks. This pack holds four clips, two pairs.

About the magnetic CPAP mask clips

Clips are usually the first part of a mask assembly to wear. They are handled at every fitting and removal, the strap slot widens and the housing can crack long before the frame needs replacing. A worn clip lets the headgear slacken and is often mistaken for a cushion problem.

This four-piece pack of magnetic CPAP mask clips gives two pairs: enough for two masks, or one mask plus a spare pair. That suits services issuing spares at fitting, and retailers whose customers run more than one compatible mask. A two-piece pack is listed separately for one-for-one replacement.

The clips have an ABS housing with a magnetic alloy core and detach from the headgear for washing. They are not for AirFit P10, N30, F30i or F40 masks, and the magnet safety guidance must be checked for every wearer and bed partner.

Use and care

• Contains magnets: keep the clips, and any mask fitted with them, at least 50 mm from pacemakers, implantable defibrillators, neurostimulators, adjustable shunts, aneurysm clips, metallic stents, cochlear implants, insulin pumps and other ferromagnetic implants. This applies to the wearer, bed partner and anyone handling the mask.
• Do not use magnetic clips where the wearer or a bed partner has any such implant; ask the responsible clinician if in doubt, and read the magnet safety information supplied with the mask.
• Keep away from cards and items sensitive to magnetic fields, and out of reach of children.
• Remove the clips before washing the headgear; wipe with a damp cloth and dry fully before refitting.
• Check the strap slot, housing and magnetic hold weekly and replace clips that crack or weaken. Do not use a dishwasher, bleach, alcohol-based cleaners or scented oils.
