Alvera AirGuard is a compatible clip-on AirSense 10 filter cover in charcoal, supplied singly or as a pack of 2 for sleep services and retailers.

About the AirSense 10 filter cover

The filter cover holds the air filter flat against the inlet on the side of the machine. Without it, air can pass around the edge of the filter rather than through it. Covers come off at every filter change and are small enough to be mislaid or broken, which makes the AirSense 10 filter cover one of the most frequently requested spares.

AirGuard clips into the filter recess without tools and wipes clean alongside the machine housing. The single unit suits a straight replacement; the pack of 2 suits services issuing a spare with a machine or replacing covers across several devices.

It is shaped for AirSense 10 only. AirSense 11 and AirMini use different filter arrangements, and the cover should not be forced onto them. Picking staff and users can confirm the machine from the model printed on the underside of the device, and each pack size carries its own code for reordering.

Use and care

• Never run the machine without the cover fitted, and refit it fully after every filter change.
• Wipe with a damp cloth with the machine disconnected from the mains.
• Check the clips and body for cracks and confirm the cover still holds the filter flat.
• Keep the air inlet clear of walls, bedding and curtains.
• Replace the cover if a clip breaks, the body cracks or it no longer holds firmly. The machine instructions take precedence.
