The Alvera AirLink™ Mini Mask Adapter is an AirMini mask adapter that connects a standard 22 mm CPAP mask to a ResMed AirMini travel machine, supplied as a pack of 2.

About the AirMini mask adapter

AirMini uses a narrow proprietary hose, so a standard full-size mask cannot connect to it directly. An AirMini mask adapter makes that connection with a push fit at each end, letting a user travel with the mask they already use at home rather than a separate AirMini interface.

There is one important trade-off for staff to explain at the point of sale: waterless humidification only works with the dedicated AirMini mask set-ups. Through this adapter, therapy is delivered without humidification. Users who rely on humidification are better served by a dedicated AirMini set-up.

The pack of 2 lets one adapter stay with the machine and one in the travel bag, so a lost or damaged adapter does not end a trip. It is not needed for, and does not fit, Air 10 series or AirSense 11 machines, which already take standard tubing and standard mask connections.

Use and care

• Waterless humidification does not function through this adapter; therapy is delivered without humidification.
• Confirm the adapter is fully seated at both the tubing and mask ends before use.
• The mask in use must have its own vent, and vent holes must never be blocked or covered.
• Do not use an adapter that is split, cracked, distorted or no longer grips, and do not repair it with tape or adhesive.
• Wipe daily and wash weekly in warm water with a mild detergent, then air dry away from direct sunlight. Do not use a dishwasher, bleach, alcohol-based cleaners or scented oils.
• The instructions supplied with the machine and the mask take precedence.
